Privacy Policy — Zazz

Zazz ("the app", "we", "us") is a mobile arcade of brain mini-games. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. By using Zazz you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Anonymous guest account. When you start playing, we create a guest account identified by a randomly generated ID and a randomly generated display name (for example Guest-3f9a2c). This does not require or collect your real name, email, or phone number.
• Display name. If you choose to change your display name, we store the name you set so it can appear on leaderboards.
• Gameplay data. Scores, game sessions, daily-challenge progress, and streaks. We store these on our servers to power leaderboards, your stats, and daily challenges.
• On-device settings. Preferences such as sound and haptics are stored locally on your device and are not sent to us.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or precise device identifiers, and this version of the app does not use third-party advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs.

How we use information

• To run the games and save your progress across sessions.
• To rank scores on global and daily leaderboards.
• To show your personal stats and daily-challenge streaks.
• To send optional local streak reminders (notifications scheduled on your device). You can turn these off in the app or in your device settings.

How information is shared

We do not sell or rent your information. Scores you submit to a leaderboard are visible to other players, shown alongside your chosen display name. Game data is stored with our hosting provider, Google Cloud Platform, which processes data on our behalf to operate the service. If you use the in-app "share" feature, the content you share is sent only to the app you pick (e.g. messaging), at your request.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Abandoned game sessions and detailed move logs are pruned automatically over time. If you delete your account, your data is removed as described below.

Your choices and account deletion

• Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from inside the app (Settings → Delete account). This removes your profile, stats, and leaderboard entries.
• Notifications. Disable streak reminders any time in the app or via your device's notification settings.
• You may also email us (below) to request deletion of your data.

Children's privacy

Zazz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.
